I'm at tamaki campus at the moment. It's a weird campus, kind of depressing. I don't know, there are quite a few people here, but there's something really empty about it. Plus it reminds me a little of a cross between kristin and massey >_O

Lots of work on at the moment (I say that a lot, but it's always true) but I'm much more cheerful in general. I've stopped caring about getting good marks. Well, not exactly. I've just pretty much tried to forget there *are* marks. It feels much better studying something scrupulously to fully understand it and get that "aha" moment than it does crammig, regurgitating, and crossing fingers.

But, you know, that doesn't stop me when consistently finishing assignments at 3am the day they're due. It's all good :3 I'll just keep disgusting everyone with reheated coffee and toil away in the night.*

Plus we bought a computer. For games. A month before exams.
^_^
We're replaying Diablo 2 LOD with the Assassin, which I've never done before. We've also ordered Fable and installed FEAR to replay in the night... brrrr. I love watching that game, but I can't play it myself or I'd bust an artery or something. So. Tense.

But my big looky-forwardy-excity-thingy is LOTRO. drool all over self

*(Okay, for serials, you will no longer endure the reheated coffee thing. It is fucking disgusting. I just couldn't be bothered making a new batch that night.)

I don't know about that, since druid is playable. But I'll look up which class that is because that's something I didn't know.

I never noticed any really obvious bugs, do you know of any in particular?

And as for LOD being made by a third party, I don't see anything very wrong with that. Since it's the expansion, Blizzard wouldn't need to involve itself much to keep to the original thread of the game: all the third party needed to do was develop and playtest a couple of new classes and a new act.

Yes, that's true. I think there is a lack of support for that reason.

I only started getting bugs when I modded the game (surprise surprise).

Oh yeah, and I think it crashes out sometimes on Vista for me, but then again everything does.

Oh, it's not cripplingly bad but it does annoy me.

Stranglerly enough, Firefox is giving me gip at the moment. The screen within the browser window literally wobbles.

Fable is fun, though it doesn't last very long and doesn't have much replayability.

When you're finished D2:LOD I'll show you where to get some mods for it.

oh, i've finished LOD before. What/where are these mods?

I agree with the replayability problem, and to be honest I think the ending (the one I played) is shit.

But jase and I have both completely forgotten it, and also the first time we played it through we bought it, ISO'd it, and returned it to the store, so I don't really feel bad about buying it again seen as we never technically bought it in the first place.

Well, there's lots of choice when it comes to mods, so I should probably let you choose your own. Try googling Phrozen Keep. It keeps me amused when I have to pass the time anyway. I sort of like the mods where it makes the game drop more rares, sets and uniques. Though not so many it ruins the fun of the game.

Careful with choosing a mod for the patch you have, as well.

No, that's true, and I mean, if you play a game and then come back to it it's usually fun again.

A.B, have a drink with me on Sun or Mon night!

Done oblivion, through and through... not impressed by the total bugging-out near the end which meant we had to use cheats to skip past the buggy bits, which kind of compromised the whole enjoyment thing.
Awesome game otherwise.
